Causes
- Repetitive wrist movements, inflammation, pregnancy, diabetes, or wrist fractures.
Diagnosis
- Phalen’s Test
- Tinel’s Sign
- Nerve conduction studies (EMG)
Treatment
- Nerve glides
- Wrist splinting
- Ergonomic modifications
- Stretching
- Strengthening
Recovery
- Mild cases resolve in 4-6 weeks with conservative treatment
- Severe cases may require surgical release, with recovery in 6-12 weeks
