Raised in central Ohio, Dr. Walls was a multi-sport athlete who went on to play college football at Morehead State University while earning his degree in Exercise Physiology. He later earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Ohio University before completing a prestigious Sports Physical Therapy Residency through ProAxis Physical Therapy in partnership with the renowned Steadman Hawkins Orthopedic Group.

After moving to Arizona in 2016, Dr. Walls worked as a clinic director before founding Wall 2 Wall Sports & Rehab in 2021. His vision was to create a patient-first practice that eliminates the limitations of traditional insurance-based care by delivering one-on-one physical therapy directly to patients at their home, workplace, gym, or athletic facility.

What sets Dr. Walls apart is his ability to combine expert clinical evaluation with real-time diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging. As an RMSK-certified clinician, he uses high-resolution ultrasound to evaluate muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and other soft tissues, allowing for more accurate diagnoses and individualized treatment plans.

Dr. Walls specializes in treating orthopedic and sports injuries for golfers, baseball and softball players, CrossFit athletes, runners, pickleball players, and active adults. His evidence-based approach combines advanced diagnostics, manual therapy, dry needling, pneumatic shockwave therapy, blood flow restriction training, corrective exercise, and performance programming to help patients recover faster, move better, and return confidently to the activities they love.

I was born and raised in a small town in Wisconsin. I went to Duluth, Minnesota, to study at the College of St. Scholastica, where I received my degree in Exercise Physiology with a minor in Psychology.

During this time, I also studied for and earned my certification as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I then continued at St. Scholastica to earn my doctorate in Physical Therapy. Shortly after graduation, I moved to Arizona! I have primarily practiced in general outpatient orthopedics, but have also, in the last year, started working in the home health setting.

I have had the opportunity to participate in a variety of athletic endeavors, including soccer and volleyball during my high school years, coaching high school swimming during my collegiate years, as well as competing in powerlifting, marathon running, and triathlons. I enjoy setting goals for myself and striving to achieve them. Due to the variable nature of my interests, I find working with all types of patients as they work towards their goals incredibly fulfilling. Whether it’s sports, work, or hobbies, I love helping people bridge the gap between their current ability level and where they want to be, as well as realize the depth of their potential.

Outside of work, you can always find me curled up with a good book, hiking or running, and spending time traveling with my husband!

She spent six years in Tucson before moving to the Phoenix area in 1999, where she currently resides.

With over 13 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Jamie has developed a passion for helping small businesses grow. Outside of her professional life, she maintains an active lifestyle, enjoying workouts, hiking, and spending time in the mountains of northern Arizona.
